Dr. Joffe presented at the Congresso Internacional da ABENEPI, in Sao Paulo. This was a very rich conference in terms of topics, presenters from all over the country of Brazil and from other countries as well. Dr. Joffe presented on three topics: Inclusion of Special Needs Children in Regular Classrooms, Talents and Challenges of Children with Asperger Syndrome, and Selective Mutism. Discussions were developed about the need to collaborate in research and to also learn how to apply scientific findings into the clinical practice with patients in regular clinics, private practice, and not only in University settings where research is conducted.
